You don’t need to be an experienced or skilled writer to join the group. You just need to be willing to see where the words take you. All you need is pen and paper and a quiet space to write.
In each session I’ll provide a variety of different prompts to get the words flowing. There’s no pressure to share your work but there will be an opportunity to do so if you wish.
Writing has helped me through some of the darkest times in my life and I strongly believe it can bring healing and hope to our lives. I’m an experienced creative writing tutor and community workshop facilitator. I have completed the Mindfulness Association’s Mindfulness Based Living Course. I started the mindful writing sessions in March 2020 to share the healing power of words during this hugely difficult time.
